In all honesty, we had a wonderful, fun trip. It is always nice to spend time with my sister and we bonded with all of our girls. The weather was absolutely beautiful and we stayed downtown on the Riverwalk - which is not stroller friendly, by the way. We sure did a lot of walking, talking, shopping and playing. We also had a great time at the Children's museum (look for a separate post on that) and the zoo.
Here are the girls as we started our journey from Temple to San Antonio. On the way there, we did get a chance to stop in Round Rock and have dinner with one of my good friends from high school, Shaun. It was great to see him, since we haven't seen each other in over 10 years!
Whatever they are watching must be good, just look at their faces!
Here we are on the princess chair at the Disney store.
Talking about feeding the ducks during luch at Subway downtown. Cadyn is excited, but Claire is definitely unimpressed.
Here's how we spent most of our days while Heather attended her sessions - standing on the chair waiting for the boats on the river. We saw birds, boats, people, lights, airplanes, cars, clouds, trees, a tiger (don't know where Cadyn was looking, but she insisted there was one out there) and many other exciting things. Who knew looking out the window would keep them occupied for more than 5 minutes?
Our second occupation - talking on the phone. Heather, do you think we talk on the phone too much? :) So glad there were two phones to share. Aubrey kept calling Margaret at the church, who knows who Cadyn called, and Claire was content to walk around eating goldfish all morning.
